Administrative Professionals Certificate Program

The Administrative Professionals Certificate Program helps new and long-term administrators gain the skills and competencies they need to support all levels of management at Georgetown. The certificate may be earned apart from the Professional Managers Certificate, although the two share many of the same courses.
Who May Attend
All Georgetown employees who work in administrative, clerical, support, and union positions at the University are eligible for this program at the beginning of their employment.
Cost
There is no cost to either the employee or department for this certificate.
How the Certificate Works
·            The training is grouped into curriculum blocks.
·            Each block includes required core courses.
·            Participants must complete all required courses (80 units) plus an additional 12 developmental units to receive the Administrative Professionals Certificate (total of 92 developmental units).
·            Participants who earn an additional 18 developmental units beyond the APC will receive an Advanced Administrative Professionals Certificate (total of 110 developmental units).
