Welcome to the Health Care Reform Tracking Project

From 1995 through 2004, the Health Care Reform Tracking Project (HCRTP) tracked publicly financed managed care initiatives and their impact on children with mental health and substance abuse problems and their families. The study used a mixed methodology. To see publications of findings from each of the following methods, click on the link provided:

The HCRTP was conducted jointly by the National TA Center for Children's Mental Health at Georgetown University, the Research and Training Center for Children's Mental Health at the University of South Florida (USF), and the Human Service Collaborative of Washington, DC.

The study also included a special focus on the effects of managed care initiatives on children and families involved with the child welfare system.
Publications relating to the child welfare focus are available from the National TA Center at Georgetown.
