Assistant Dean Bryan Kasper

First Year Student Advisor & Curricular Dean for IPOL majors

Dean Kasper earned a B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy from American University and M.A. from the SFS Security Studies Program. His diverse academic interests include international security, the nature of war, conflict resolution, and comparative philosophy and religion.   He has worked at Georgetown in a variety of roles since 1998, having served in the Office of Student Conduct, Housing and Conference Services, and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

Dean Kasper represents the School of Foreign Service on the Overseas Study Advisory Committee, Advising Students Committee, New Student Orientation Planning Group, and the University Honor Council Executive Committee. He also serves as officer on the Bias Reporting Team, the Student Conduct Judicial Hearing Board, and the University Honor Council.
