Academic concerns
You have a number of resources if you run into academic difficulties while abroad:
- The local program coordinator, who can tell you about tutoring possibilities, study groups or other resources, and help you negotiate with professors;
- Your study abroad adviser at OIP, who can tell you how other students have dealt with similar concerns in the past;
- Your faculty mentor at Georgetown, who can recommend study aids and background reading that might help you in your classes abroad;
- Your curricular dean, who can help you decide the best course of action.
Please do not hesitate to ask for help if you need it.
