Grading

• Grades from all your courses abroad will appear on your Georgetown transcript as they appear on the original transcript from the host institution ? they will not be translated to an A-F scale.
• In countries where a variety of grading systems are in use, grades may be recorded with an indication of the highest grade possible (e.g. 8/10, 14/20).
• Failing grades will be recorded but no credit will be awarded.
• Study abroad grades will not be factored into the Georgetown GPA. 
  
  The only exceptions to this rule are grades from the Georgetown programs in Villa le Balze and Alanya, which do count toward the Georgetown GPA.
