Proposals

Letters of intent are due on March 1 of the junior year. They may be submitted in person or by e-mail, fax or regular mail. Letters of intent should be sent directly to Dean Gregory in the SFS Dean's office; an additional copy should be sent to Prof. Tommaso Astarita in the History Department.

Please note that this deadline cannot be extended.

If you are invited to participate in the honors program, you need to pre-register for the honors seminar in the fall of your senior year. Your letter of invitation will provide detailed information on this procedure.

Theses

Completed honors theses are due on the date specified by the honors seminar professor. Again, the deadline cannot be extended, since faculty need time to read and evaluate your work before grades are due. You need to submit one complete copy of your thesis to the Dean's office and another to the honors seminar professor. Please note that it can take several hours to print and copy your thesis; don't wait until the last minute.
