How to use NAV 7.0

Using NAV 8.0: Deleting LiveUpdates

It is very important to keep your virus definitions up to date. To do this, you must run LiveUpdates on a regular basis. To make things easier, you can schedule Liveupdates to run automatically. Once they've been scheduled, you can edit or delete LiveUpdate tasks.

You may wish to scan your computer's files. You can also schedule scans to run automatically.

UIS recommends that you do not change the preset preferences in NAV 8.0.

Deleting LiveUpdates

  1. If it is not already open, open the Norton Scheduler panel (see steps 1-6 of Scheduling LiveUpdates if you need help with this).
  1. Click on the task you want to delete (this will highlight it).

  1. Then click on the Delete button.
  1. You'll be asked if you really want to delete the task. Click on the Delete button.
  1. This will return you to the Scheduler panel. If you don't want to make any more changes, click on the red dot to close the panel.
