Using NAV 8.0: Running LiveUpdate

Virus definitions tell NAV what to look for when protecting you against malicious files. New viruses are released every day, but if NAV isn't told to watch out for these new viruses, it won't do anything about them. This is why it's so important to keep your virus definitions up to date by running LiveUpdate on regular basis. To make things easier, you can schedule Liveupdates to run automatically.

You may wish to scan your computer's files. You can also schedule scans to run automatically.

UIS recommends that you do not change the preset preferences in NAV 8.0.
