Training at Georgetown: Microsoft Access Training

We have determined through meetings and planning that it would be very difficult to support MS Access due to the various ways databases and reports can be individually setup. For that reason, UIS sponsors an outside vendor called Softek Services, Inc. to come in for day-long training sessions which are available to all of the University.  Each of the courses are from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Guidelines for the Standard (the beginner's course), the Intermediate and Advanced courses can be found by clicking here: Standard, Intermediate, and Advanced.  Softek includes manuals and technical telephone support with their training. You may even have the opportunity to return to the same course you have taken at a later date for a refresher, without charge.

The cost is $100 for the Standard course, $100 for the Intermediate and $150 for the Advanced. We accept Interdepartmental Invoices, Journal Vouchers and personal checks made payable to UIS Training. We do work on a first come, first served basis. The seat is reserved, but not confirmed until payment is received.
